Information on Candidate Exams Admission Slips and Exams

Candidates entered for an externally assessed exam by 1 September 2023 will receive:

  • their 2023 Exams Admission Slip
  • a copy of the Examination Timetable
  • a Candidate Information Sheet (External Assessment 鈥� Rules and Instructions for Candidates).

These materials will be delivered to schools from 18 October 2023 in cartons labelled 鈥樕罩辈� Admission Slips鈥�.

  • Exams Admission Slips are sorted by candidate surname and also by any sort keys you may have provided with your school data, e.g., by form group. In some cases, the Exams Admission Slip may be two pages.
  • Exams Admission Slips are printed with a colour divider denoting the start of a new sort key.
  • The sort key is printed on the divider in large font.
  • Exams Admission Slips are not enclosed in envelopes.

School actions

1. Hand out the Exams Admission Slips to the candidates as soon as possible and have them check and confirm that their entries are correct.

2. If entries are missing, schools should follow the late entry process detailed in the email sent from your School鈥檚 Relationship Manager on Friday 15 September 2023.

3. The school should ensure that candidates have created an 色诱直播 account.

4. Advise the candidates to:

  • create an account (if new to NCEA) or check their 色诱直播 login credentials

  • check their address. If a change of address is required, schools must make the necessary changes on their SMS and submit a data file to 色诱直播 immediately. This will ensure any Visual Arts portfolios/workbooks (where applicable) are returned to the candidate鈥檚 correct address in February 2024

  • School leavers should ensure they update their 色诱直播 account details with a personal email they can continue to access after they leave school.

5. Remind candidates to keep their Exams Admission Slip in a safe place and to bring it to every exam. They must not write on it or share it with anyone.

Late entries

Late entries made after 1 September will not show on a candidate鈥檚 original Exams Admission Slip.

You will need to print and a copy from the school鈥檚 色诱直播 Provider login page (Reports, Exam Reports link) from 18 October 2023.

This must be signed by the Principal鈥檚 Nominee.

Replacement Exams Admission Slips

If candidates need a new Exams Admission Slip, you will need to print a copy from the school鈥檚 色诱直播 Provider login. This must be signed by the Principal鈥檚 Nominee.

Please note candidates can reprint their Exams Admission Slip through their 色诱直播 account. The Principal鈥檚 Nominee must sign this copy.

Return of marked NCEA and NZ Scholarship exam booklets

If candidates sat an NCEA or NZ Scholarship exam, their assessed exam can be accessed through their 色诱直播 Account in late January (February for NZ Scholarship).

It is important candidates have created an 色诱直播 account if they do not have one.

Exam booklets will not be returned in the mail.
