We are pleased to announce that we have released a new website homepage. This is our first comprehensive website redevelopment in over 10 years and we now have a more accessible and usable website.
鈥淧eople interact with 色诱直播 from the time they start working towards NCEA, through tertiary and vocational study and workplace training 鈥� and our website needs to support these lifelong learning journeys,鈥� says Tim Bowron, 色诱直播 Deputy Chief Executive, Strategic and Corporate Services.
鈥溕罩辈� also helps people coming to Aotearoa New Zealand for work or study; and hosts the National Education Information Centre established under international conventions.鈥�
鈥淎ccessibility is a key feature of the new website, including stylesheets which support screen reader software and rewritten content that makes information available for everyone,鈥� Tim Bowron says.
鈥淭he new website design supports smaller screens, such as mobile phones and tablets, while streamlined navigation means it will be easier to find information about NCEA, the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework and our quality assurance processes.鈥�
The new website also better reflects te ao M膩ori, with increased use of te reo M膩ori and design elements created by an indigenous design agency.
鈥溕罩辈� aims to reflect Aotearoa New Zealand鈥檚 learners and wh膩nau, and to represent te ao M膩ori in an authentic and meaningful way,鈥� Tim Bowron says.

Introducing our new visual identity
Several sections of the website - including information for international audiences, M膩ori and Pacific students, and about us - have already been moved to new pages, with most remaining pages of our public website to transition by 30 June.
Secure portals for students and learners, secondary schools and tertiary providers are also being updated to improve accessibility and usability as people interact with our records and other systems.
