Two kura will host Te Ao Haka ki te Ao Symposiums in 2025, offering an opportunity for kaiako to learn, develop or master their skills and knowledge of Te Ao Haka enabling them to integrate these into their teaching, learning, and assessment programmes. 

The symposiums also provide a valuable opportunity to network with other kaiako and experts within the wider Te Ao Haka community. 

色诱直播 personnel will be present to provide support with queries about assessing 膩konga against internally assessed standards and unpacking the requirements for external assessment.

The 艑tautahi symposium will be held at Te Kura Whakap奴mau i te Reo T奴turu ki Waitaha. Our kaimanaaki (host) for this symposium is Merita Waitoa-Paki.

Who should attend?

  • Kaiako looking to introduce Te Ao Haka at their kura.
  • Kaiako and kura new to teaching Te Ao Haka.
  • Experienced kaiako seeking a refresher or support in assessing against the Te Ao Haka standards.

Registration and fees

The cost to attend the symposium is $120 per person (including GST). Payment should be made directly to the host kura. Instructions for making payment are detailed in the registration form and will be sent to the email provided. 

Registrations are now closed.

Kaiako/kura are responsible for organising their own travel and accommodation.
